"A place for everything, and everything in its place..."
While Samuel Smiles' thrifty and orderly musing is well over a century old, the nature of the lesson remains. Everything should have a suitable place in which to be stored, and when the use of it is complete, it should be returned. As internet-based technologies branch and converge (sometimes without knowledge or planning), the landscape of services becomes cloudy, and the breadth and curve of training becomes wide and steep (think Grand Canyon).
If each and every "services company" attempted to internally contain knowledge and workers on each budding subject or technology, the internet services industry would be weighted down by enormous organizations unable to rapidly adapt to client demands and situations. Such a thing is unacceptable.
At GroundWork, we believe that Mr. Smiles was correct in terms of knowledge and specialties. We love to work with other organizations who are in surrounding, competing, or related fields. We provide products and services that may be of use to you, and vice versa. Sometimes, our offerings overlap. In that case, there is the question of volume and time. When we run out of time or run too high in volume, it may not be possible to expand staff in the short term; it may be best to cooperate. GroundWork uses several methods to facilitate this efficient commerce:
Some customers that come to us looking for particular services may fall outside of our normal specialties. We make it a practice of referring business to other companies who provide reasonable services at all levels of cost. Learn More.
All of our projects involve a variety of media content, programming expertise, and marketing extension. In order to suit the budgetary needs of our clients, we are trying to build a base of content providers at all levels of expense. Would you like to provide content or services for our customers? Learn More.
Building reusable, industry-specific rich media mechanisms is our specialty. We may already have a set of tools to help you create the interactive, Flash-based site your client needs. If not, we can adapt our existing technology to meet the specific client's needs. Learn More.
Do you have significant knowledge of a particular industry and want to leverage that knowledge to introduce technological services to organizations in it? Conversely, are you an existing provider in an industry and want to offer new rich media products or services? Learn More.
